Uninor Customers watchout - You are being looted every month

Do you know how Uninor loots your money?
How should i call Unior or Chornor (meaning of the hindi word is Thief).
Are you a Uninor prepaid customer? Have you sometime noticed that every month Rs.30 each is automatically deducted from your balance without you subscribing for any additional service?
Well. let me share my personal experience with Uninor.
I have two sim cards of the same scamer company, i mean "Chornor".
I took it because they were one of the first ones to introduce per second billing.
I use one sim and the other is used by my sister.
I always recharge with rs.300. i never cared about how much money is getting deducted.
And when i took both the sims i have not opted for any additional services. Initially for the few months it was a damn cheap deal but ever since the 2G scam burst i think think they began looting the people.
Because, for the past six months my sister have been telling me that every month from her mobile Rs.60 is deducted automatically. In two intervals rs.30 each.
She always charges her phone with rs.100 so it is easy to track the balances. 
First i told her that she must be using it. But when she started complaining to me frequently i began watching my calls and balances.
Then i realized that i am also being looted every month rs.30 each for two of their services since last six months.
So to verify it i went to one of the Chornor (Uninor) outlet and checked with customer care executive.
He checked on the system and found that for the past six month my number has been subscribed for my caller tunes and my cricket India or something like that.
I told him i have not activated these services for myself. Then how come that you have activated it without my consent?
No Sir, you must have subscribed for it.
Ok. I pretend that i accept my ignorance. And asked him to deactivate both the services from my number.
He did it instantly without any hesitation.
Now, i wanted to verify who is playing the game.
So i asked to check my second number and it also had two other services subscribed since last six months.
Now after verifying, i asked him, how come that both these numbers have unsolicited activation of two different services?
Now the executive goes blank and his face become pale. Because, i caught it red handed.
So i asked him to deactivate the services from the second number also. He did it without any hesitation.
And i solved the problem forever i thought...
But the incident is not over...
After two moths my sister tells me that Chornor (Uninor) is deducting rs.30 each again. Because, i didn't want to waste my time and money for a telecom provider who is a chor i mean thief.
Now i ask her to take new sim and thrash the old.
Who activates the services without the consent of the customer?
Why are they doing it?

Of course let me give you a statistics of the Chornor (Uninor).
They operate in  22 telecom circles across India with a customer base of 36 million.
Imagine, if they loot rs.30 from each customer how much is being accumulated every month.
36million x 30 = 1080 million rupees. Don't be surprised the amount when you hear in crores.
They are looting on monthly basis is over 100 crores.

Let us say the loot the 36 million customers with Rs.60 each, it will be a whooping figure of 200 crores.
And i think that is the business strategy they use to compensate the loss or the money they have paid for to Raja and Co or for the 2G spectrum agents.
At the end of the days who is being looted? It is YOU the Customer!
That is the privilege you get as an Indian who lives in India and opt for cheap services.
You are looted by the democracy and the capitalists alike.

Friends, it is my own experience. Please forward it to as many as of your friends to come out of this rut.
If you are a Chornor (Uninor)  customer please check the services you have activated or if your money is deducted without your consent. If so, change the service provider who do not loot you.
Do inform this to all friends of yours who are using Uninor.
Spread the awareness that we will not be victims of such exploitation.

Value of an Indian gets cheaper as Petrol prices hike by Rs.1.80

About five weeks ago government hiked petrol prices and i had posted blog which was titled " Three Indians equivalent to one liter petrol (rs.25x3=rs.72.85)." If not refer to blog on September, 22.
Fuel price hike in India is not a new phenomenon for none of us and the simple reason they say is that escalating crude prices in the International market. Yesterday, it has moved to $108 for a barrel.
And it has devalued the prices of the Indian to a few paise less.
Let me put forward a different situation. When a company hikes the prices of any commodity it will always forsee some profit. Let us say, if Oil Marketing Companies hike the price by Rs.1.82 yesterday, they must be having at least a profit of 5 paise per liter.
30% of the population of India use on an average two liter petrol per day (35crore x 2). Now calculate 70 crores x 5 paise -- that is the profit irrespective of international escalation of prices Oil Marketing Companies make. Still they say that they are sitting on a huge loss. The figure that i have given is just an assumption of a common man. But in business nobody does a marketing for anything less than a 15%.
Now don't wonder when see the Oil Marketing Companies sweeping profits at your cost in whether it is international crude price escalation or internal shortage.
At the end of the day, the loser is you and me.
Understand, every price hike in the petroleum products would trickle down to the sadhu in varanasi who smokes a bidi and poverty ridden villager in some interior part of Tamil Nadu who eats iddli and sambar for rs.10.00.
What can we do about it?
How can we overcome these crisis?
Why do we have to make the people in gulf richer as we squeeze the means of our livelihood? Why do we have to support the lazy life of Arab world?
Of course, we have no other options, as India is not an oil rich country to cater 1.26 billion population.
So what can we do?
We are innovative in escalating the population in our country.
Why are we not taking initiatives to think of some innovation that can substitute Petroleum products?
Why can't we put our energy into sorting out this crisis?
A country with so much human resources and human productivity definitely have to think differently to solve internal crisis, anarchy and chaos that would trigger when the commoner is not able to support his/her needs.
When the bread is not affordable - they are tent to steel it like in the Afrian countries. It is a common phenomenon there.
The bread that is alien or unaffordable will be snatched or grabbed wherever it has affordability.
Think about it. Pass it on to your fellow Indians.
Remember, It is Your India, Our India.

Backbiting and power hunger could be the catalyst for the split of Team Anna, in its core committee

Today, world is undergoing serious anti-corruptions move or campaign all over. Ushering and overthrowing deep rooted dynasties in the middle east; Greece and Italy hitting pauperism which is causing a nightmare in Europe; Global financial meltdown and crisis; Wallstreet revolution in US and anti-corruption movement in India…

Serious concern for any sensible human being on earth which is contagious. It is vandalizing the proletarians all across the globe.

Definitely India also has the wave of epidemic in full swing in the form of corruption sweeping crores into the pockets of so called representatives of people’s democracy.

And Jan Lokpal Bill is supposed to be a guardian and rescuer of common people. In the very essence of the bill it says, “The Jan Lokpal Bill, also referred to as the citizens' ombudsman bill, is a proposed independent anti-corruption law in India. Anti-corruption social activists proposed it as a more effective improvement to the original Lokpal bill, which is currently being proposed by the Government of India.

The Jan Lokpal Bill aims to effectively deter corruption, redress grievances of citizens, and protect whistle-blowers. If made into law, the bill would create an independent ombudsman body called the Lokpal (Sanskrit: protector of the people). It would be empowered to register and investigate complaints of corruption against politicians and bureaucrats without prior government approval. (Ref. Wikipedia)”

Twist in the proletarian movement in India is that there are also black sheep in the Anna Team who are just selfish and power hungry. Current crisis in the Anna Team vividly announces the same with its uncertainty.

The common man or proletarians of India supported Anna Hazzare movement because merely they thought a commoner would not be so power hungry and they will be in a better position to gauge the plight of the common man.

But now! The uncertainty has damaged the reputation and goodwill that Anna Team has earned during past few months.

Now the question is:
What is the private agenda of Anna Team?

Install a more corrupted system in the secular democracy in the name of Lokpal?

How reliable is the Anna Team, if they are fighting and having self-interest before they got the power -- What would they be if the Lokpal bill is sectioned and empowered them to head the Lokpal Team?

Are they going to overthrow democracy?

Can we expect an uncorrupted system of ethical governance from the Anna Team, after, all these internal conflicts and crisis?

Will it be like 'Blind leading the Deaf'?

Think about it. It is your India – Our India.

10 members of a family committed suicide in Dehradun (on Tuesday) just a couple of days ago. The reason for the shocking incident was said to be the death of the only earning member of the family a few months ago. Let us understand, the priests and nuns who have hardly any idea about the life outside can make blind statements.

There was this interesting incident from a friend of mine who left priesthood recently and got married. One month after his marriage he tells everyone that it is too expensive to live outside.

Well. Now he is no more a priest but a simple lay person like you and me. He is pinched by the realities of worldly life. And not just intellectual masturbation of those protected clergy within the four walls.

If the religion is a strong hold of the common man my simple and humble question is that how can an incident like the above ever happen to a family of ten?

Are they not human beings?

Why didn’t the religion and religious fundamentalists heed to their plight of poverty and misery?

Let us understand, it is not the production of human beings but the sustenance of them that is needed.

You can keep on producing children like stray pigs and dogs but when they hit the survival button the incidents like above will happen.

If you respect your children and love them, produce only what you can take good care of.

So, I personally feel the recommendations of Justice V.R Krishna Iyer commission are relevant and need of the hour.

“Adoption of family planning and birth control as secular policy is necessary to check unhealthy, uneconomic and abnormal increase in population and for sustaining harmony and happiness among all communities,” V.R. Krishna Iyer  commission, appointed by the government, said.

Irresponsible Indian leadership ignores reality… Keep Impregnating…!?

The Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad recently termed the suggestion by the former Supreme Court Judge V R Krishna Iyer-headed Commission to deny privileges to those families in Kerala who do not follow the two-child norm as “ridiculous”.

What is so ridiculous about trying to contain population in a country which cannot take care of its basic needs? 

As Union Health Minister, Azad should know more than anyone else the problems India is facing due to its ever-increasing population.

Isn’t he ridiculing himself by passing such a comment, which clearly show that he cannot foresee the danger of a booming population and the adversities it can have on India and its future?

Is he eligible to be the health minister of the whole nation? 

Even the Kerala chief minister did not reject the idea altogether. Instead he said that all aspects of the Women’s Code Bill 2011 will be thoroughly studied and discussed. 

As a responsible citizen, and as a leader, Azad should have not made such a comment. We would call it unbecoming of a educated leader. 

At some point of time, our leaders will have to take tough decisions, to curtail the population, which is already a big threat to India. 

Chanakya’s Arthasashtra is “a book that frequently discloses to a king what calculating and sometimes brutal measures he must carry out to preserve the state and the common good,” Says Roger Boesche. 

In today’s world, it is not the king but the leadership and the ministers who have to take these ‘brutal’ decisions in the interest of the country and the world at large.

Are our ministers up to the task?

Who’s questioning your right? Just be responsible!

‘Impregnating your own wife? Could land you behind bars’ was a recent post. Here’s one of the comments:

The Govt is not the deciding factor on the no. of children a couple has. That’s a personal consideration a couple has to make. Not the Government!!! Having stated that India is a Democracy, taking away the right of parents to cohabit/procreate without the interference of outside forces, defeats democracy - freedom to act - in a big way.

Well, here’s what I have to say:

Of course, to cohabit and procreate is a person’s right. I’m not denying that. In a democracy you have a lot of freedom—freedom of speech, to practice your religion, to assemble peacefully and protest etc. But any freedom a citizen is entitled to should be taken with responsibility.

Having freedom of speech does not mean you can abuse or slander anyone. That’s why there is the facility of a defamation case in the law. The freedom to practice your religion does not give you the right to be intolerant to other religions. If an assembly of people turns violent, threatening the society, the law has provisions like imposing a curfew. And if a state slips into a disorder and lawlessness, the constitution even has provision for President’s Rule.

It’s when responsible behavior is thrown to the winds that the state/govt has to step in and maintain the peaceful fabric of the society.

Choosing a person to live with is also an individual choice. But is it right to go on a choosing and changing spree? I don’t think so. And so the law considers polygamy/polyandry illegal.

I respect and accept a person’s desire to become a parent. Won’t that desire be satisfied with one, or at the most two children? Will he/she be satiated only if there are five or six, or even a dozen children?

Here, I’ll digress to tell you the story of my house maid. I give her Rs 500 a month for cleaning my house on alternate days. She works in three other households. So she earns Rs 2,000 a month. And if she were to spend the amount of her children—4 of them—it‘s Rs 500 for a child. Now, when she does some extra work at home, I tip her, quite generously. It brings a smile to her face as she says that she can buy a vegetable for dinner today.

Simple fact: Less mouths to feed, the better food you get.

India is facing a serious population explosion issue. The figure 1.26 billion speaks for itself. The challenges that the government faces are about providing food security, education, and employment—just to name three.

We have the world’s highest infant mortality rate, highest number of undernourished children and uneducated/unemployed populace. Ever wondered why?  One main reasons is that we have too many mouths to feed and too many little ones that health care doesn’t reach them.

Now, like my reader commented it’s your prerogative. You can have two or two dozen children. But understand that you are being irresponsible causing a huge burden on the government. If you ask me, It’s not wrong to take tough decisions to lighten this ever-increasing burden.
